On June 13, 2025, I had the honor of traveling from Los Angeles to Minnesota to film the wedding of Evan and Dustin. From the moment they reached out, they told me they wanted their wedding captured entirely on real analog motion picture film, and as a filmmaker who lives and breathes film, I couldn’t have been more ecstatic. A fellow gay couple who shares my passion for film? Absolutely yes.
A Love Filled Celebration
Their celebration was pure joy from start to finish. The way these two love each other warmed my heart, and I feel so blessed to have been the one to capture their queer wedding on authentic Super 16mm Kodak film. Every frame carries that timeless, cinematic texture you can only get from vintage wedding filmmaking, the kind of texture that digital can never replicate.
Love is love, and Evan and Dustin’s wedding day was a true reflection of that truth. Their story reminded me why I do what I do, why being a Los Angeles Wedding Videographer, Super 8mm Wedding Filmmaker, and Travel Wedding Videographer is not just my career but my passion.
Filmmaking and Photography Team
I had the absolute pleasure of filming alongside my amazing friend and business partner Anna from Wildly Connected Photography. Together, we documented every candid moment, heartfelt vow, and dance floor laugh, working as a seamless team to ensure Evan and Dustin’s love story was preserved beautifully on both film and photo.
Incredible Wedding Vendors
No wedding is complete without the talented vendors who help bring the vision to life. Evan and Dustin worked with a wonderful team:
Adagio provided the DJ and mood lighting that kept the dance floor alive. JP Armstrong was the thoughtful Minnesota minister who guided the ceremony with warmth. Buttercream created the stunning wedding cake that looked as good as it tasted. Green Mill provided catering that had guests raving all night long. Main Floral designed breathtaking florals that set the perfect romantic tone.
Each vendor played a part in making their day extraordinary, and I loved capturing all the details on Super 16mm film.

A Travel Wedding Filmmaker You Can Trust
Though I am based in Los Angeles, my work takes me around the country and even the world as a Travel Wedding Filmmaker and Travel Wedding Videographer. Whether it is an intimate lakeside celebration in Minnesota or a grand wedding in Italy, I bring my cameras and passion for analog film wherever love takes me.
For Evan and Dustin, traveling from Los Angeles to Minnesota to film their day felt like such a natural extension of my work. Their love story deserved to be preserved in the most authentic, timeless way possible.
✨ If you are searching for a Los Angeles Wedding Videographer, or someone who will travel anywhere in the world to capture your love on Super 8mm or Super 16mm film, I would love to tell your story.
